The Holland Lake Trail Leads To Holland Falls In Montana

However, we happen to think the Holland Lake Trail would be a top contender for the spot – after all, it’s not every day you’ll stumble upon a trail with both a waterfall and a shimmering lake. Let’s take a look at Holland Lake and Holland Falls in Montana.

You’ll find the Holland Lake Trail in Northwest Montana near the town of Condon.

It’s surrounded by the Swan and Mission Mountains in an incredibly beautiful part of the state.

The trail is about 3.3 miles long and it’s considered to be a good hike for all skill levels.

The climb is gradual, and the trail is well-marked. If your entire family likes to hike, you can bring them along.

The trail starts at the end of the parking area to the right — it’s marked as Trail 416.

Right away, you’ll climb about 750 feet.

Quite a bit of the hike is actually done lakeside, which is as wonderful as it sounds.

The views are so stunning, you’ll almost (almost) forget you’re exercising.

Holland Lake spans 400 acres and is good for swimming, canoeing, waterskiing, and boating.

Its gorgeous, crystal-clear water makes it even more appealing.

Keep going and you’ll spot Holland Falls, an impressive 50-foot waterfall in the forest.

It’s nice to sit near the falls and feel the gentle mist from the water on a hot summer day.
